Board Update Jan 26, 2011

Dear PCA families, staff, alumni and friends,
Our heartfelt thanks to many of you for your support and encouragement. As of last night, we have received $1 million in pledges. May our Lord receive all the glory.
The pledges come from less than 20 families including alumni and friends of PCA. A lot has been accomplished by a few who are devoted to God and His ministry to His children. Similarly, when your church hosts a big event and needs to set up a lot of tables and chairs, there will always be a handful of faithful brothers and sisters who will be the first to help the set up. Then slowly, more and more brothers and sisters will join and the place will be set up in no time. Our PCA community is large. We need more of you involved. Everyone can contribute.
In Dr. Randy Douglas’s article “Closing the Back Door: The Need for Christian Education” http://www.normangeisler.net/need-for-christian-education.html statistics show the importance of Christian Education in His kingdom. The Lord gave PCA the mandate 39 years ago. He has placed His vision before us to promote Christian Education. Therefore we obey and follow His call. Some asked why we love PCA so much and are willing to put in so much time and resources into the ministry. The answer is “We love because He first loved us.” 1 John 4:19.
