PAC News: Sod-Turning Ceremony
PAC | 2011-03-24
March 24, 2011
Dear Parents,
Welcome back from March Break! We hope everyone had a relaxing and enjoyable time. While we were having fun during the holidays, the school staff, administration, the PCA Board members and some parents had been working extremely hard for the preparation of an important landmark of the school – the Sod Turning Ceremony.
Praise the Lord, the 245 Renfrew Corporation has been officially formed and money has been collected from our faithful lenders and investors. Currently we have about 40 investors and the numbers are still growing. Renovation is scheduled to begin after the ceremony this weekend.
Parents should all have received a copy of the press release from the school, but as a reminder, here’s the information of the upcoming event this Saturday.
Sod Turning Ceremony
Date: Saturday, March 26, 2011
Ceremony Time: 10:00 am
Preview: 10:30 am to 2 pm
Location: 245 Renfrew Drive (Woodbine and north of Hwy 7)
As there will be city officials and general public attending the event, your presence will help boost our community spirit and demonstrate our support to the school. Please do come and be a part of this exciting moment of the school’s history.
In the meantime, if the Holy Spirit touches your heart, it’s still not too late to join the 245 Renfrew Corp. While the Elementary School (ES) has the option to stay at the Willowdale Pentecostal Church (288 Cummer Avenue) for another year, we definitely want to move ES to 245 Renfrew together as one big family. Your generous support will go a long way. For more information, please contact Carol Lam at clam (at) pca (dot) ca as soon as possible.
“Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.” 2 Corinthians 9:6
Also, as a reminder, if you still have not handed in your re-registration package, remember to do so as soon as possible. Do not delay the process as enrolment has now open to all new comers.
Hope to see you all on March 26.
Blessings,
