David Broomer | 2011-10-31
October 27, 2011 I trust that you received my letter of last week. High school students can be notorious for not taking information home or not bringing information back to the school. Perhaps this letter will make its way home as it does involve food. Lunch Program The long awaited lunch program is going to begin the week of November 7. Please find attached the necessary form for ordering lunches for the month. The cafeteria will be again run by Mr. Chu, but the meals are prepared off-site as the cafeteria is not yet fully equipped and thus the reason for order forms. Forms will not be accepted after the deadline as there is much more planning involved for this year. Payment must be made by cheque only and is payable to PCA (please this is all you need). For November the forms will be due no later than Monday, October 31. World Vision As you are probably aware, PCA has been associated with World Vision primarily through the 30-hour famine program. I met with the representative yesterday to find out that PCA was in the top three schools in raising funds through the program! What is really impressive is the fact there were 150 schools in the comparison! What a great job our students and families did last year. We are looking to continue this tradition this year. PD Days The staff will be joining other Christian teachers next Thursday and Friday for a conference in Brampton. Please be reminded that there will be no school on November 3rd and 4th. In His service, D. Broomer Principal High School PS - If you have any up-dates (e-mail, new phone number or address), please inform the office. |
