December 16, 2011
Dear parents, Time goes by so fast. Christmas is right around the corner. Let us lift our hearts and voices in one accord to praise the Lord, our heavenly Father, for watching over us all these days. Let us make this festive time of the year a wonderful opportunity to thank God for what He has given us, and glorify His Holy name. Let us all rise and serve our God and serve our community in Christ. Let’s go and share the Good News and witness to our neighbours the true meaning of Christmas. Let’s take a quick snapshot of what had happened in the past 3 months and thank God for his blessings:
Did you notice the school has put up a few Christmas trees and nativity silhouette around the school building this year? Also, did you see the big cross in the hallway near the school gym? This is our new home and Christ is the centre. We are happy that we can freely express what we believe in, freely share our values and opinions, and nourish the spiritual welfare of our children. This is the time to build a solid faith and foundation in Christ. Let us remember to continue to pray for more funding and long term financing for the next phase of construction and increase in student enrolment in the next academic year. If you want to offer your financial gift to the school, you can donate on line at: http://www.canadahelps.org/CharityProfilePage.aspx?CharityID=s95998 or download the pledge form on the site: http://www.pca.ca/content1.php?id=87. You can also donate equity by using the attached transfer form. You will receive tax receipts for your donations. Also, watch for the registration package in the mail. Your early registration will help the school in securing long term financing. May God’s name be praised. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. In HIM Parent Advisory Committee Peoples Christian Academy (PCA) Inc pac@pca.ca DYK? Friday prayer meeting is now in two locations: 7:45 am at Sheppard Blue Annex (School bus stop), and 8:30 am at Renfrew location High School Gym 2 (see attached flyer). |
