Dear PCA parents,
I hope you have been enjoying the nice weather this Fall brings. The board would like to extend a warm welcome to all of you. Hope you find the school a home away from home for your children and the PCA community a strong support to your families.
We are excited with the opening of PCA Early Learning Centre in July and we now have an opportunity to serve families with children at age 2.5 years to 4 years old. These young children have pure hearts and are ready to learn and experience God’s love through the attentive care of our ELC staff. We have constant inquiries of ELC and there are still some openings before we reach capacity. If you know families looking for quality early learning centre with Christian based philosophy, please connect them with Ms. Genny Ng at gng@pca.ca.
This school year, we have a slight increase in enrolment. Several grades are now offering two classes. We thank you for your support and we know you have been spreading the words about PCA. Thank you.
As Thanksgiving is around the corner, many of us are pondering to whom we should utter our thanks. We hope you will join us together in thanking our teachers and staff as they faithfully and whole-heartedly nurture our children every day.
This past year, we have seen several PCA families facing sudden issues and have family members passed away or in severe health issues. After some discussion, the board has decided to institute a PCA Benevolent Fund. Please review the attached and if God touches your heart, we ask that you give generously to the fund. The Benevolent Fund will be administered separately from the Operation Fund and will only distribute to families in need when fund is available. Please mark the donation envelope clearly to indicate giving to the Benevolent Fund.
PCA is a charitable organization, tax receipts for your donations will be sent to you by February 2014 for income tax purpose. Thank you in advance for your great support and prayer.
