Dear PCA Parents and Alumni Members,
Thank you for your participation in the Special Meeting held on September 22, 2009. Results of the Special Meeting are listed below as "Letter One" for your information.
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) called on June 9, 2009 was adjourned due to insufficient parent member participation.
Notice is hereby given that the AGM of the Peoples Christian Academy (PCA) Inc. will be held on Monday, October 26, 2009, at 7:00 p.m., at 374 Sheppard Avenue East, Toronto, Ontario. Child care will be provided. Details are listed below as "Letter Two" for your information.

Dear Parent and Alumni Members,
Re: Voting Results of the Special Meeting
In the Special Meeting of PCA held on September 22, 2009, we had participation of approximately 60% from the Parent Members and approximately 30% from the Alumni Members through proxy voting, on-line voting and personal attendance. Accordingly, we met the quorum required to constitute an official meeting.
We received over 90% approval for each of the following items voted on:
Please note that we still have a number of corporate matters that need to be addressed in our Annual General Meeting which will be held on October 26, 2009 (Monday) at 7:00 p.m. Separate notice and information package will be sent out shortly via e-mail. Paper copies of these communications will be available at both the high school and elementary school offices.

Dear Parent and Alumni Members,
Notice of Annual General Meeting (AGM)
The AGM called on June 9, 2009 was adjourned because the percentage of parent member participation did not meet the quorum required in the by-laws.
Notice is hereby given that the AGM of the Peoples Christian Academy (PCA) Inc. will be held on Monday, October 26, 2009, at 7:00 p.m., at 374 Sheppard Avenue East, Toronto, Ontario. Child care will be provided.
Following our Special Meeting held on September 22, 2009, all meeting notices will be distributed through e-mail. Paper copies are available at both the high school and elementary schools for pick up.
The AGM's agenda is as follows:
Call for directors closed on September 18, 2009. We have received applications from Carol Lam as Parent Director, and Ron Gray and George Gooderham as Alumni Directors. Information of Carol Lam is already posted on the membership website prior to the June 9 AGM. Information of Ron Gray and George Gooderham will be posted on October 10 and voting will follow. Information on other agenda items will be posted on the membership website shortly. If you have any questions, please e-mail Christina Lam at cslam@pca.ca.

Dear Parent and Alumni Members,
Re: Voting Results of the Special Meeting
In the Special Meeting of PCA held on September 22, 2009, we had participation of approximately 60% from the Parent Members and approximately 30% from the Alumni Members through proxy voting, on-line voting and personal attendance. Accordingly, we met the quorum required to constitute an official meeting.

- To amend the by-law to issue meeting notice via e-mail and fax.
- To amend the by-law to reduce the quorum (i.e. attendance to constitute a meeting) for Parent Members from 55% to 30%.
- To approve By-Law No. 2 to grant borrowing powers to the directors.
- To approve the Supplementary Letters Patent to allow for financing of capital projects (e.g. renovation of the new site) without collateral.
- To confirm the appointment of Tim Cheng as the auditor for the fiscal year ended August 31, 2009.

- Update on PCA relocation by the Board (construction, transportation, PCA promissory note).
- Adopt the financial statements for Fiscal 2008 and Fiscal 2009.
- Appointment of auditor for the fiscal year ending August 31, 2010.
- Authorization of insurance policy for directors' liability.
- Approval of 2009 amendments to By-Laws passed by the Board of Directors.
- Election of Directors.
- Transaction of such other business as may be brought properly before the AGM.
