Dear parents, The sharing below tells a story of humility and serving heart- some Christ like qualities that our wonderful teachers at PCA have. Testimony My son came back last week before the Easter break and told me this incidence that totally moved me. He said the teacher actually washed everyone’s feet in class! Wow, I was speechless. No doubt, one of the main reasons why I loved the school was the teachers, who had dedicated their time and energy to not making teaching as a career, but a ministry for God. And then, this past Easter Sunday, I witnessed a PCA student got baptised in our Church. Most candidates had friends, families or group leaders standing beside them, but she had a teacher from PCA with her. I was once again, speechless. Our teachers aside from their qualifications and teaching experiences, truly demonstrated care and concern for our children. I couldn’t have asked for more. Of course we all had our complaints and disappointments, but realistically speaking, it’s the same everywhere. Right now, I’m happy to see my son growing in knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. According to the PCA communications, the full board hearing of the rezoning appeal will last 3 weeks. Let’s keep praying and give our best effort to attend the prayer meeting on Fridays. "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.” Matthew 7:7-8. The PAC is forming a Prayer Warrior Team. If you can spare 30 minutes to pray for the school once a week at your convenient time and in your preferred language & format (e.g. over the phone), please email us at pac@pca.ca. Let’s use the most powerful tool – PRAYERS, to support each other and our school. God does not fail. The question is, have we all done our part to show our trust in Him? Have we been praying diligently? Have we all chipped in according to our means? The money that you willingly offer to the school is to further God’s kingdom, to ensure the continuity of the school. No matter you choose to participate in the We Love PCA Club, or the promissory note, or devote some of your precious time to pray, God knows your heart. The PAC will also like to invite students to share their first hand experiences. By the way, have you talked to your children lately on how they feel about the school? Maybe we can all learn something from them. Please send your testimony to pac (at) pca (dot) ca . Did You Know In addition to possibly having teachers on the school bus, we can arrange with the school bus company for designated driver(s) to meet our bussing needs. The PAC had previous experiences through Church activities and such with some responsible and trustworthy drivers whom we can request to do our runs in order to alleviate some of the parents’ worry or concern regarding safety.
