As a Christ-centred school, Peoples Christian Academy encourages lifelong outreach and community service. As part of the diploma requirements, PCA high school students must complete a minimum of 40 hours of community involvement activities. These activities may be completed at any time during their years in the secondary school program. Peoples Christian Academy recommends 10 hours per year Grades 9-12, to be completed in Grade 12 by May 1st before graduation.
For Grades 9 -12, the Mission requirements are as follows:OutreachRecalled to Life (R2L) is a program that assists in helping the needy in Toronto. This is usually done as a sandwich run, providing necessary nutrition as well as the Gospel of Christ.
Extended MinistryThis program is offered to our high school students who will minister on a short-term basis. Ministry in the past has included mission trips to Mexico, Bolivia, Senegal, Southeast Asia and Europe.
